What are the selection criteria?

The selection process is based on an evaluation of the following: University Grade Point Average (GPA), course work related to the programme, motivation letters, work experience, research experience, references and educational background. The 50 students best evaluated will also be contacted for an interview.

When and how will I know if I have been admitted and if I have been granted a scholarship?

All applicants shall receive written communication of the decision of the Consortium Committee. It will be in the form of a Notification Letter explaining the grounds for accepting or rejecting the application, and with information on the appeal procedure. You shall receive the notification of acceptance approximately by the end of March.

How many applicants pass the selection process and how many are admitted?

The 50 best evaluated students will be contacted for an interview and shall be considered for the programme and the scholarship. There are a total of 25 places available in the Programme but not as many scholarships.

I have not been selected to receive a scholarship despite the fact that I meet all the requirements and I am a top student. Why I have not been selected?

The student selection process is clearly explained on the EMMECC NURSING website under the "Student admission and selection criteria and procedures" section, on the "Student selection procedure and criteria".

The number of study places available is limited and the selection process is extremely competitive; this means that fulfilling the eligibility criteria alone is not enough to receive a scholarship offer. Your application was evaluated together with a large number of other applications of the highest level, but unfortunately, your application was not competitive enough compared to the others.

Also, please note that the maximum number of scholarships per country is two. You may have passed the selection procedure but not been offered a scholarship because there are at least two other candidates from your country that obtained a better ranking than you.
