Student application procedures

The EMECC NURSING consortium has adopted a single admission procedure, which will be administered and managed online. The application process for the EMECC NURSING consists of 2 steps:

  1. First, applicants will have to fill out and electronically submit the application form within deadline via the Application System on the dedicated EMECC NURSING website.
  2. Afterwards, the selected candidates will have to send in hard copies all required attachments by post, post stamped before the assigned deadline.

Information about the application procedure will be published and the Application System operational on the EMECC NURSING website and related to partner Universities websites at least 3 months before the application deadline. For both European and non-European students, the deadline for submitting the application to the EMECC NURSING will be 31th December of the previous year to the commencement of studies. All applications to the EMECC NURSING must be sent within the deadline to the coordinating institution.

The Application System will allow applicants to fill out the application form on-line and indicate if they apply for Erasmus Mundus Scholarship, attach all supporting documents in digital form, including the relevant certificates and transcripts of previous studies, submit the form to the EMECC NURSING.

Coordinating University and will issue an acknowledgment of receipt. All application documents should be presented in English.

A complete application consists of the following:

  1. Personal information about the applicant – family name, name, date of birth, place of birth, nationality , address, sex, recent identity photo;
  2. Passport copy, as proof of nationality
  3. Diploma and transcripts (diploma supplement or list of the subjects taken during the study and correspondent marks) of their previous studies fulfilling the EMECC NURSING admission criteria. The diploma and transcripts must be original, certified documents, scanned and attached to the online application form. If the original language is another than English, applicants must supply a translation of these documents. The translation must be done by an authorized translator.
  4. Syllabus or description of additional courses taken in related fields
  5. English language certificate to prove proficiency as stated in the EMMECC NURSING admission criteria
  6. Other language certificates in Spanish, Portuguese or Finnish if applicable
  7. Motivation letter – this letter should present the applicant's motivation to enrol the Master course, preferred study track and mobility, the competencies and skills he / she would like to achieve, future perspectives and aspirations after the Master course, etc.
  8. Work experience certificate and CV with information about relevant experience and professional training. The list of past work placements should be well documented. The CV must specify the position held, main responsibilities and how long it lasted. Documentation of relevant courses, workshops, seminars etc can also be included.
  9. Letter of reference – minimum 2 letters, preferably one letter from an academic viewpoint and one from an employer. Reference letters must be written in English and must be signed / stamped.

All application documents should be submitted in English.

It is the full responsibility of the applicant to provide the necessary documentation.

Welcome to the EMEC NURSING online application form. Please read carefully the following information, which is important to help you complete the process.

  • Please note there is a time-out procedure that will log you out after 10 minutes of inactivity; we recommend that you save your work often to avoid data loss and keep alive your working session. You may log-out and resume your work at a later stage, the form will retain all previously saved information.
  • Sections 1 through 3 must be fully completed online
  • Section 4 allows you to upload all necessary supporting documents. We advise you to review in advance and keep readily available all files in PDF format (maximum allowed size is 8 MB per file)
  • Section 5 allows you to submit the application. Please verify you have completed all fields and uploaded all necessary documents, before submitting it. You will receive a PDF summary by email for your records; should you find any errors at that stage, please send us an email message specifying the error and requesting renewed access in editing mode to the online form (this procedure can only be requested once but never after the application period deadline)
